Experience shaping the lives of young children by joining our unique team of staff and educators! In our Toddler&Twos Program you will work with children ages 16 months to 35 months. Each day will bring on new adventures as you help students discover their sense of self through creatively planned lessons, and interactions with their peers.
Your Role
Instruct toddler-aged children in developmentally appropriate group or one-on-one activities designed to promote intellectual, social-emotional, and creative growth
Plan and implement weekly lesson plans
Create a fun and safe learning environment
Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
Observe and communicate children's developmental progress on a daily basis
Collaborate with other educators
Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
Be patient and kind to children
Other duties as assigned
Your Skills/Qualifications
Must be 18+ years old
2+ years of previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
High School Diploma or GED
CDA Certified or Associates/Bachelors in Early Childhood Education or related fields
Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and toddler educational methods
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to act as mediator between children
Positive and patient demeanor
Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
